Tournament Director - Matt Standage
Being originally from Aurora, Nebraska, it’s a requirement to be a Husker football fan (GO BIG RED)! I came to Springfield in 2010 to attend Evangel University. I continued my education at Southwest Baptist University, where I graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. When you call, text, message, or email the tournament, you’ll be speaking to me, or my wife, Keegan. Some of you may recognize her name, as she has been around the centers since birth and is now the General Manager for Enterprise Park & Sunshine Lanes. We have been married since 2017 and have two sons Hudson & Carson. In my free time, I enjoy golf and home renovation projects. Since meeting Keegan, I have spent a lot of time at Sunshine and Enterprise. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of the sport of bowling as Director of The Greater Ozarks Open.
Office Staff & Lane Monitor Supervisor - Julie Phillips
Julie has been a member of the Greater Ozarks team since 2011 & her family is all about bowling. Julie's husband Jeff is a competitive bowler, her daughter Megan bowled for Columbia College and her daughter Madi will bowl for Wichita State beginning in 2023. Julie assists Matt during the week with processing changes, making reservations, entering scores & anything else needed to make the upcoming run smooth.
Director of Team Event - Tim Modglin
Tim began his love of bowling at the age of 4 years old and has worked in a bowling center since the age of 14, where he manually kept score for the Greater Ozarks Open. In 1983 he began officially working for the tournament and has held various positions since then. Tim has had 6 - 300 games, his first one coming in the Team Event of The Greater Ozarks Open, then in 2005 he placed 2nd in the Doubles portion of the ABC Nationals Tournament. Tim graduated from then, SMSU (Missouri State University), with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing, and also holds an Associate's Degree from Drury University in Data Processing.
